Privacy policy

  1. The use of Safe Creative’s services implies the express acceptance of our Privacy Policy, which governs the treatment of information, access keys and security measures. These measures are implemented to protect our files from being accessed, modified or eliminated by unauthorized individuals. The files are registered in the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
  2. Safe Creative can gather personal when users use its services or visit pages either on the official website or related to content served by Safe Creative. Safe Creative can combine this registered information with other gathered by partner companies. In these cases, Safe Creative shall notify the user of the information’s reception and will send them a copy of its Privacy Policy. This way, the user can express whether they wish to remain registered in our files. Safe Creative excludes all liability from any previous actions made by third parties.
  3. When a new user registers, Safe Creative asks for information such as name, surname, physical and email addresses, and an access key. Additionally, we also gather information about transactions and service usage, including queries, suggestions received through our support page, and notifications of copyright violation. Other activities and events are registered in our servers’ logs. They keep evidence for the browser’s configuration, IP address, and requested pages.
  4. The web service uses cookies for its operation, in order to maintain the sessions open and customize the experience for each user. Additionally, cookies are used to gather anonymous statistics of the web’s usage. You can find more detailed information in our cookie policy.
    The requested data will be used for the following purposes:
    • In order to process our certification and registration services and customer support, to solve doubts, settle conflicts, and answer to suggestions.
    • In order to contact the user in the event of incidents involving their personal data, such as errors using any purchased services. Other incidents might involve the analysis of usage statistics, or anonymised reports, both for internal use and for external clients.
    • In order to send you communications, bulletins, or newsletters related to our activities, products or services.
    • In order to improve our services.
    All this information is necessary for the management of the aforementioned services. Without them, the proper functioning of the system would not be possible.
  5. If you use the copyright registration services, the only personal information displayed publicly at www.safecreative.org shall be the one in relation to public registrations made by the user. This includes name or pseudonym, the title of the work, identification code, type of work, synopsis, date and time of the registration, and copyright policies. The content of the work or other data will only be accessible to third parties if the user explicitly decides to make it so.
  6. The management of all the aforementioned data is regulated by Spanish legislation (Organic Law 15/1999, dated December 13th, for the Protection of Personal Data and its enforcing regulations), as well as by the Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 24th, 1995, relative to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. The data shall not be transferred to third parties in any circumstances other than the ones legally established in Safe Creative’s privacy policy. In any case, users may contact us requesting access, correction, opposition or cancellation to information about them contained in our files, with the conditions and limitations established by the applicable regulation.
  7. The computer subsystems for data storage used by Safe Creative may be outsourced to European or US companies providing these services. The companies are subject to the privacy policies of their corresponding legislations for each case and time.
